Version 2.0: October 23, 2026
Wearbird 2.0 is the biggest update yet.
- Ask for a look. Tap the round button and say what you need, like “dinner Friday, not too dressy”, and you get outfits from your own closet.
- The piece your closet is missing. Wearbird spots the one piece that would add the most new outfits to your closet, and in the US it can find it in Shopify stores, sorted by what goes with your clothes.
- Check a piece in a store. Take a photo of a piece in a shop to see if it works with what you own, or keep it for later with the store on a map.
- Trips. Wearbird plans an outfit for every day of a trip, with the forecast and a packing list. See the outfit planner.
- In your photos. Wearbird finds the photos on your phone where you wore a piece, so you can log those days; it all happens on your phone.
- Not for me. Tell Wearbird why a look is wrong, and it learns your style.
- Month view. Zoom out to the month to see your streak and a recap of your month to share.
- Collections, accessories, and closet sort, filters and stats. Group looks into collections, add accessories, and sort your closet by most worn or cost per wear.
- Prices. Note what you paid, see your cost per wear, and get price drops on store items you saved.
- Reminders and video. Get a morning reminder of your planned look, and add a piece from a frame of a video.
- iPad. Wearbird now runs on iPad, and fits iPhone Duo’s displays.
Version 1.0: October 22, 2026
The first release of Wearbird, an outfit planner and digital closet for iPhone.
- Plan your week. Put an outfit on any day from the day strip on Today, with your calendar events as moments. See the outfit planner.
- Outfits for the weather. The forecast from Apple Weather tells Wearbird how warm to dress you. See outfits for the weather.
- Outfits from what you own. Build looks from your clothes rail, get ideas made only from your closet, or tap Dress me in it on any piece. See outfits from your closet.
- A closet that looks like a shop. Add pieces with the camera, from Photos or from a shop link; product photos lose their background on your phone.
- Know what you really wear. Tap Wear this on the day, and see how often you wear each piece.
- See it on you. Add your own photo and see your outfit laid out beside you, like a lookbook. Optional AI extras, with 3 free AI credits for new users, lift every piece out of an outfit photo or show an outfit on you.
