Terms of Use
The terms for using the Wearbird app and its related services.
Effective: October 7, 2026
Agreeing to these terms
By using Wearbird you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets an older age for agreeing to terms like these, you must be that age or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
What Wearbird is
Wearbird helps you keep a closet of the clothes you own, put outfits together, plan what to wear and see outfits on you. Some features use AI to make product shots and pictures of outfits on you.
Your account
Wearbird creates an anonymous account on your phone, so you can start right away. You are responsible for what happens on your phone and in your account. Your photos are kept only on your phone and are not backed up by Wearbird. If you remove the app or lose your phone, those photos are gone. You can delete your account at any time under You → Delete account.
Your content
Your photos, closet details, outfits and notes stay yours. You give us a limited licence to process them. It covers only what is needed to provide the features you use, keep Wearbird secure and answer your support requests. It ends when the content is deleted.
Only add content you have the right to use. In particular:
- Use photos of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it. Never use a photo of a child for a try-on.
- Don’t upload nudity, sexual content, or anything hateful, violent, unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Don’t use AI features to mislead people about who someone is, to harass anyone, or to make pictures of a real person without their permission.
The AI services we use may refuse a photo that breaks these rules, and so may we.
AI features
AI features send the photo you choose to our server and to OpenRouter, the AI service, as described in the Privacy Policy. The app asks you once, before the first photo is sent, and you can change your answer at any time under You → AI features. AI results are produced automatically. They may be inaccurate, and they may look like other people’s results. You may use the pictures Wearbird makes for you for your own personal purposes. You are responsible for how you use and share them.
Store links
When you add a piece from a shop’s page, Wearbird reads the product details shown on that page. Product names, pictures, brands and trademarks belong to their owners. Prices and availability can change. Wearbird is not affiliated with or endorsed by any shop, and it doesn’t sell the products shown.
Credits
AI features use credits. Wearbird may give you free credits, for example when you first start. Free credits are limited to one set per phone. Credits have no cash value. They can’t be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and they are not refundable except where the law requires it. If an AI job fails, its credit is returned. We may change how many credits a feature uses, or how free credits are given, and the app will show the current amounts.
Paid credits and subscriptions
This version of Wearbird has no purchases. If paid credits or a subscription become available in the app, these terms also apply:
- Purchases are made through Apple and charged to your Apple Account when you confirm, or when a free trial ends. Apple’s payment, refund and subscription rules also apply.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. After you cancel, it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Credits that come with a subscription are for that period and expire at its end, as shown in the app. Purchased credit packs don’t expire.
- Deleting Wearbird or your Wearbird account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Fair use
Wearbird is for your own personal use. Every AI request costs us money to run, so there are limits on how many jobs can run at once and in an hour, and on daily use. Normal personal use should not reach them. If you do reach a limit, AI features pause for a while and then work again. The rest of the app keeps working.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Wearbird. In particular, don’t:
- interfere with the service, try to get around credits or limits, or access it with automated tools or by anything other than the app;
- try to get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours;
- copy, sell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- use Wearbird to break the law or someone else’s rights.
Third-party services
Wearbird relies on other companies for sign-in, hosting, AI processing, weather and maps. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. These services may change or be unavailable, and their own terms may apply.
Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove features, and we can’t promise Wearbird will always be available or free of errors. We may suspend an account that breaks these Terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or when the law requires it.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Wearbird is provided “as is” and “as available”. There are no warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Wearbird is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law.
Apple
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Wearbird or its content, for maintaining or supporting it, or for handling any claims about it. Those claims include product liability, legal or regulatory compliance and intellectual property claims. If Wearbird fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Wearbird. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use Wearbird.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version and its date will always be posted here, and we will tell you in the app about important changes. If you keep using Wearbird after an update, you accept the new Terms, where the law allows.
